Information About Box Lacrosse

Box Lacrosse Season

• The typical box lacrosse season starts after Spring Break and runs until the end of June

Practices

• Practices will typically be held 2 times per week
• Practices are held in Salmon Arm and Enderby.
• While we will do our best to assemble a schedule that minimizes conflicts with other activities, it is sometimes unavoidable - if you have a conflicting sport/activity and can not make all the practices, we are understanding of this - ideally you could alternate between activities on those days of conflict

Games

• Games are held within the Thompson Okanagan Region - in Salmon Arm/Enderby, Vernon/Armstrong, Kamloops, Kelowna, Penticton.
• Games will be on weekends starting in April
• The game schedule will not be available until the start of the season
• Not every weekend will necessarily have a game, and some weekends will have multiple games
• We try to avoid scheduling on long weekends
• In addition to the regular season there is the opportunity for tournaments as well - which is a team decision whether to attend
• U7-U9 has an 8 game season
  • Total of 4 "game days" which will all be double headers (2 games in 1 day)
  • Typically 1 home game day (2 games), and 3 away game days (6 games)
• U11-U17 has a 12 game season
  • Approximately half home and half away games

You will need the following to register:

• If you haven't registered with us before, a RAMP user account will need to be created, this should be registered under a parent/guardian email address

• Multiple registrants per family should use the same RAMP account

• First Time Registrants will be required to upload a Digital Copy or Photo of Birth Certificate

• First Time AND Returning Registrants will need to upload an UPDATED/CURRENT Proof of Residency document (i.e. utility bill) every time they register.

Note that additional family members from the same household (after the 1st registrant) will also receive a $50 discount.
